    Lead DevOps Engineer - London.

    An accredited AWS Partner is looking to expand it's engineering function having continued it's successful track record in winning new business. The company in question prides itself on it's technical capability but equally, it's customer centrictiy and consequently is looking for like-minded individuals to join them.

    Being successful in this process would offer the platform to work on a number of medium / long term engagements, exposure to bleeding edge technology and the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with a team known for their collaborative and inclusive approach.

    Offices are based in central London, a 5 minute walk from the nearest tube station, and whilst attendance is always welcomed, it is not expected - promoting an autonomous and high trust working pattern.

    Initially the experience sought is best summarised;
    • Deep understanding and working experience of AWS
    • Production exposure to IaC, ideally Terraform
    • Familiarity with post build technologies
    • Prior experience leading projects, ideally leading people.


    The role is offering a competitive renumeration package including a basic salary north of £100,000 depending on experience. There is ample opportunity to invest in personal development too, with a great deal of internal and external support.

    The Role



    As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline application deployment and integration processes. Your mission will be to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based applications, contributing to the company's global digital strategy.

    Key job responsibilities



    🔹 Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
    🔹 Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and manage cloud components.
    🔹 Optimize build and deployment strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
    🔹 Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve business-critical solutions.
    🔹 Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations.
    🔹 Ensure application security and compliance with company and industry standards.
    🔹 Maintain and enhance deployment frameworks for long-term sustainability.

    Qualifications



    🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
    💼 Experience: 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
