    Supply Chain Manager Position

    $135,000 Base Salary - Roanoke, VA

    My client is a pioneer in their industry classification within Manufacturing and actively looking to hire a supply Chain Manager. They have been in business for nearly a century and have an incredible culture of commradery and success.
    Their CEO is very hands on and would be someone that this person will interact with on a regular basis. They have been on NetSuite for more than 5 years and have seen a terrific ROI on the system. This is a great position for someone who is a team player and can wear multiple hats within an organization. You will have 3 direct reports to start out and will have a tremendous vertical growth opportunity.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
    • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Supports proper utilization of ERP system (NetSuite).
    • Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
    • Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
    • Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant for an initial 3-month contract with a major manufacturing company looking to bring on additional resource to support their BC implemenation. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Dynamics 365 Business Central across various departments, ensuring full alignment with business processes.


    Role & Responsibilities:
    • Implementation Support: Assist with the ongoing implementation and configuration of Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring smooth integration with other internal systems and processes.
    • System Customization and Optimization: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and customize Business Central to meet specific needs in manufacturing, inventory management, and finance.
    • Process Mapping and Documentation
    • Testing and Debugging
    • Reporting and Analytics: Set up and improve reporting capabilities within Business Central to provide key stakeholders with actionable insights on operations and financials.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth system integration and meet project milestones.




    Required Skills and Experience:
    • Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of Business Central modules related to manufacturing, inventory management, financials, and supply chain.
    • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and customization of Business Central.
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes, with the ability to translate those into Business Central configurations.
    • Experience in data migration, system integration, and developing custom reports within Business Central.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to train and support end-users on the functionality of the system.
