A well-known banking client is currently looking for a creative and talented Automation Tester with Java OR Python (ideally both) on a permanent contract.

In brief:

• long-lasting projects - no bench - self-development opportunities
• hybrid work - 2-3 days a week working in the office, in Prague
• teams are functional and cooperative - developers and testers work together on the same features from day one. There is no manual testing - everything must be fully automated
• design and maintain integration and end-to-end (E2E) automated tests
• use and extend an in-house Java-based automation framework (you'll sometimes need to tweak or enhance it)
• write backend tests, including messaging-based systems and REST API testing
• no on-call or working in other (than Czech) time zones

• EU passports/Czech residency/ Czech blue card is mandatory

Ideal skills needed:

• strong experience in backend/API test automation
• at least 4-5 years of professional experience in writing tests in Java/Python (second language is a plus or willingness to learn it)
• familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• continuous integration tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins/GitLab
• familiarity with version control systems like GIT, and messaging systems
