A leading technology company is looking for a skilled and passionate Test Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables. This role is integral to ensuring smooth product releases and will allow the successful candidate to work on cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and fix bugs early in the development process.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and participate in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Provide feedback on product performance, usability, and reliability.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test outcomes, highlighting any risks or blockers.
- Continuously improve the testing processes and contribute to best practices in quality assurance.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with agile development teams.
- Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and/or mobile testing.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
