VMWare Specialist (Tuas)

Role: Data Centre Engineer (VMware | DELL)

Location: Tuas Singapore

Employment type: Perm role



You will be part of a Global Team supporting APAC time zone and responsible for design, plan, install, review, and evaluate data center infrastructure.



Responsibilities:

• Support current and future enterprise systems.
• Adhere to Global IT security policies, procedures, best practices, and standards.
• Participate in and optimize IT infrastructure implementations and maintenance.
• Manage network servers, virtualization, storage, and monitoring systems.
• Design, plan, install, and evaluate data center infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and improve data center systems, and recommend performance enhancements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with VCF, VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vROPS, Horizon, IDPA, NSX, VDI, and related technologies.
• Support VMware environments across multiple data centers and networks.
• Experience with Dell VxRail, Data Domain, Avamar, EMC, and IDPA storage platforms.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Windows Server 2019 and beyond.
• Basic networking knowledge: VLANs, firewalls, load balancers, NAT, DNS, LANs/WANs, SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DHCP, AD.
