As a Principal Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of technology within the organisation, influencing development practices, standards, and strategic direction.



Responsibilities:

• Lead the Way: Drive solution design, set coding standards, and champion best practices to align with and advance organisational strategies.
• Strategic Thinker: Analyse business requirements, document solution options, and understand the long-term impact of technical decisions to prioritise initiatives that propel organisational success.
• Mentor and Inspire: Guide development teams in design and implementation, fostering the creation of stable and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with Technology Leadership, Cyber-Security, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment across departments.

Key Skills:

• Expert Developer: Extensive senior-level experience in software development, with deep expertise in Java/.NET, AWS, and messaging frameworks like Kafka.
• Analytical Guru: Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Industry Savvy: Experience in the financial or banking sectors is a significant advantage.
