Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Type: Full-Time

A leading technology company is looking for a skilled and passionate Test Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables. This role is integral to ensuring smooth product releases and will allow the successful candidate to work on cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and fix bugs early in the development process.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and participate in debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test outcomes, highlighting any risks or blockers.
  • Continuously improve the testing processes and contribute to best practices in quality assurance.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with agile development teams.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and/or mobile testing.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
