Senior Network Engineer (HQ in HK - Large Enterprise)

My client is a multinational company with HQ in Hong Kong and business across the globe. They are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their internal IT Team. Their current IT staffs have around 70 members in the team.


Role & Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, analyze, implement new projects for network infrastructure and work with internal and external stakeholders for smooth and timely projects delivery
• Design and develop the system infrastructure to ensure a stable IT environment
• Handle network equipment installation and configuration
• Maintain good performance on network infrastructure & ensure the network connectivity and stability
• Measure projects/systems performance to identify the areas for enhancement, formulate and execute the action plans for continuous improvement
• Provide timely & reliable resolutions to network infrastructure-related incidents
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide technical support to users on network infrastructure related matters
• Research and evaluation of network technology and recommending purchases of network equipment

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in networking
• Holder of CCNA / CCNP / MSCE is preferred
• Proficient in configuration of mainstream network equipment e.g. switches, routers & load balancers
• Solid experience with design, implementation, and support on complex networks, including network devices (like Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HPE Aubra, or Ruckus…etc)
• Ability / knowledge of awareness on new products for network
• Demonstrate a good learning track record with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A good team player with positive attitude and strong ownership
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in both spoken and written English, Mandarin is an advantage
