We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to oversee the management, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role focuses on building a framework to ensure data is accurate, compliant, and effectively utilized across the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish Data Policies: Design and enforce policies and guidelines to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Lead data quality assessments and initiate improvement projects.
• Governance Frameworks: Develop and implement governance structures that support efficient data management. Work closely with technical teams and business units to align practices with organizational goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and privacy standards. Address and resolve any compliance-related issues that arise.
• Knowledge Sharing: Create and update documentation, such as data glossaries and flow diagrams. Deliver training sessions to educate stakeholders on governance principles and best practices.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to address data challenges, improve workflows, and advocate for robust data governance practices.

Your profile:

• Education: Degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Previous experience in roles focused on data management, governance, or compliance.
• Skills:
