Head of Data

My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Head of Data to join their team on a 2 Year FTC. They are one of the leaders within the Insurance space. They are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Head of Data to join their team. They are backed by a huge Multi National equity firm who are looking to bolster my clients financial position. They are expected to see year on year growth, which will allow them to implement and utilise the most in demand and cutting edge technology on the market right now.

Your role will include:

Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of ongoing data solutions.
Manage data architecture and engineering efforts to build and maintain scalable, cost effective data infrastructure.
Lead the development and implementation of data governance and data quality best practices
Develop low code AI solutions where appropriate using Custom Copilot and Power Platform technologies.
Manage the budget for the Data function, ensuring cost-effective delivery of data initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application's competitiveness.
Establish clear career paths and skill development for the Data team.

For this role, they are looking for a candidate that has experience in…


Proven experience as a Head of Data or similar role.
Strong engagement with strategic partners and technology providers (e.g., Microsoft, Databricks, professional services organisations).
Must have proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data solutions and business intelligence products experience.
Expertise in Data Architecture, Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Application Development.
Experience and strong knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and data security regulations and best practices
